Road To London "entry 3" (the broken toe)

4 more days 'till my flight and last night I broke a toe, just so happened to be the big fat one too…where's my luck?? lol …No worries though, I'll travel very light so that it wont be a problem for my poor broken toe, so if you see someone limping around the gatwick airport there's a good chance it'll be me!

Other than that, things around here have been rather boring but at least I'm getting a lot of work done, so that's definitely a plus. I took a break from the recordings for a couple of days but I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel now because I'm only left with 4 songs to record in 4 days…quite a tight schedule, but not totally unreasonable. :D

Alright, I think I'll find some time to post one last entry for this blog before the 23rd, until then…stay classy planet earth.

Road To London "entry 2"

Alright, the date is finally set in stone, the flight is booked for the 23rd so that'd be exactly 9 days from now…let's the countdown begin.

These last few days have been filled with…beer lol I was at the beer fest and it was a blast even though our tent started to leak in and we had to pack our stuff and drive back home sad and soaked.
But it was good to see the old crew and hang out drunk as shit like good old times for a night.

Anyhow, on a more musical note, the new record is almost finished, only a few vocal tracks to record and then it's showtime!
Can't wait to start playing shows in London and if you guys know any musicians who would like to audition for the band don't forget to send them our way.

So, this is it for this second entry of the journal, but keep checking the website for more soon.

Soooo, I was counting the songs for the new album today and there are 17, they were 16 two days ago…too many!! lol
I guess it's gonna be a long ass record, so if you were planning a 2 hour road trip somewhere don't forget to bring our cd because by the time you'll get to your destination it'll still be playing!
Just kidding, it wont be THAT long…but pretty long.

These journal entries are called "road to london" because as we mentioned in the news section the band is not gonna be based in Canada anymore due to so many things that it'd take way too long to even try and list them all.
I am pretty excited about moving back to London though, it's been 6 years now but I have a great feeling about it…then i guess we'll see.

Anyhow, I will keep you guys posted, and if you're in London I guess I'll see you in a couple of weeks ;)

So, with the new record coming out soon we thought we could try and change our "looks" a bit, but with me and Sean being totally incapable of drawing anything at all we've turned to our friend Matty who is very very VERY talented.
She's so nice that she's doing our new artwork for the website and hopefully for the CD too because we love her art so much that we wouldn't want anyone else to do it.
Here's a preview of some of her stuff I stole off her Facebook, hopefully more coming soon.
